It was Le Goub boutique's 2nd anniversary.
Siska, my friend - the owner-, asked me to model for her hijab-friendly collection.

Although I've been doing it many times, I am basically not a model. Catwalking in front of ±3000 people who were waiting for their idol -sheila on 7- to perform was..... beyond crazy. If you gimme a microphone and 10000 audience I'll be way more than happy to mc. But this....

Not to mention my recently tummy-conscious syndrome which was caused by the drastic body shape change (nope, I don't get fat, I just change a bit :| ). I blame the boyfriend and the continuous snack supply for this.

The Rock

Two rocks. Both hard and coarse, and they are totally different in shape. They crash into each other so that both of them will fit perfectly. The crash results wound and debris for each rocks. The crash takes sometimes.

But then, after the painful process of shaping and fitting into each other, they collide. They create a perfect fit, like they are meant for each other. They are like a resolved puzzle.

But we have got to remember, the perfect fit resolved puzzle is not there without crashes, pains, wounds, time, and huge big efforts from the two firstly-completely-different-shape-rocks.

So, it takes two to tango. And it takes times, efforts, understanding, shared happiness and (in most cases) pain, to adapt and to stand tall together as a couple.

Under The Perth Sky

Yaaaay I'm back to Perth!

I guess Australia is my 2nd home. Been living there for a year back then. I lived in Malaysia longer than that, but somehow Australia left a big mark on me and affected me a lot in so many ways. I practically lived there on my own, with my lovely hostfamilies whom I already feel like my own family. I was there for AFS student exchange. I spent my half of year 11 and other half of year 12 in Perth. I celebrated my 18th birthday there. I was working as kitchen hand, canteen assistant, you name it. I learned a bit of style lesson, and I learned a lot of life lesson in Perth.

So coming back there after 6 years is such a blast (if only the trip is not that far and expensive, I'd be there now and then). The excitement was beyond words.

This time, I went there for my host sister's wedding: Allyce. She was marrying Brodie, her forever boyfriend. They were going out when I lived there, and they stayed together until now. Such a love story! My host parents got my flight tickets covered, which was really generous of them :)) And there I was, standing under the Perth sky once again.

Trouble is: traveling alone means not many self-pictures. I should really learn a lot from other solo travelers.

The Comeback

Well, helloooo

I'm back!
Been a while (err..... months). Things have changed a lot, and the only thing stays the same is that I'm still female.

It is the 9th month of 2011 now. And during these 9 months I've been doing a lot. I traveled to several countries, going for some competitions, meeting new people, losing and getting business ventures, gaining a lot of weight, being on and off in relationships, and being busy.

So I guess what I'll do is I'll post the traveling part in one post each country first, then I'll post other things afterward.

Well, the biggest lesson I learned this year is being a completely independent woman. I found it both easy and difficult at the same time. I mean, not relying on anyone else but yourself, can result a big leap and can be quite a handful. But then, it comes back to us, who else will we rely on?

Aaaand, the biggest thing is I need to re-learn writing :)) This post is definitely a blah xD

I was once good at sketching. I was sketching throughout junior high school, first years of senior

high, and on 2009 during my fashion design course. Since I was juggling between my bachelor degree, MC-ing, organizations, and the design course, I didn't get much in my head, honestly. And I feel sorry for myself I wanted to take as many opportunities but the I got no focus and tadaaa not much happening -,-

So today my friend made me back to sketching for my Kozzy Closet shoe line but somehow my hand was kind of stiff :(

I didn't result a good sketch as I used to. The image in my mind wouldn't portrayed rightly on the paper. So I sketched up real shoes photos, and there you go...

Still crappy and messy, but I'm practising. I promise to myself, started off today, I'll sketch at least 3 shoes per day. Wish me luck.

This morning started with my sulking car. She decided to stop in the middle of the road and she didn't want to move forward even an inch.

Then after a run around the clock, and managed not to get panic (yaay!) I went to JavaDancer coffee shop to meet up with old friends from high school. I came a bit too early, and finally I could catch a little breath, and having an amazing brunch :) Hot Chocolate and maple pancake ;)

That's me doing my job as Tourism Ambassador of Malang, Kakang dan Mbakyu Kota Malang.

I was the 2nd runner up in 2008.

And those blue-ish pics are the convoy after Arema, football club originated in Malang, won the Indonesia Super League. The convoy went on for 1 whole week and yes, I was part of it, I even wore Arema polo shirt 2 days in a row, and my dad made a special long-sleeved Arema shirt for me. Exciting!

I've been on the t-shirt mood these days, and along with that, I caught a horrible cold from my mom. I am currently coughing and trying hard to hold my sneeze.

Anyways, it's been a busy week for Kozzy Shoes and Cafeteria Merdeka. Kozzy shoes is overcapacity right now and we can't make our orders on time :( I'm still trying to figure out solutions. Cafeteria had some human resources issues, we fired one person due to her I'mthebigboss attitude and her messing up with me. And a big consequence because of that decision is I had to close down the UM branch, at least temporarily. You know I had no more people to fill her in because 4 people already left because they couldn't stand working with her.

A big lesson comes in big packages plus big slap in the face XD

I'm in love with my own shoes by the way.

Yay!! Downsized me!!

Yaaaaaay!! I'm 7 kilos lighter than I was 3 months ago XD

So I did this super exciting recipes, I mixed green tea and lemon and had the horribly sour drink right after meals. Apparently they washed our fats off. Isn't that amazing??

And of course running two chaotic canteens and hectic shoe production timeline helped a lot. Not to mention the troubled staffs, the quit ones, the fussy customers, and my 'canteen regulars' XD ehem. There will be another post about that, not in sometimes soon XD.

Last week, Malang, my city, had a big event. Known as Malang Tempo Doeloe or The Old Time of Malang. I got to do jobs for Kakang Mbakyu Malang in the middle of a big order in the canteen, and the horrible make up. That'll be another post too XD

Here, I'm wearing a 2nd blazer bought from online shop. I was very sure it would fit, but guess what its kinda one size too small :p so I'd better stay in shape!

Wow,, I'm bad again,,, So Lazy!!

That will be because I hate blogging from my phone. It sucks it results an extremely small pic. But the reason behind the purchase of the gadget was because I needed to reduce the online time I spend in front of my laptop every single night -then I slept really late then I woke up superlate or woke up feeling sick and tired every single morning. yesterday was the first time I was able to leave the cafeteria in a week,

it was such a chaotic day because someone ordered a TUMPENG (towered rice with all sort of side dishes, will post the pics tomorrow) and 85 rice boxes for today 9 AM. Today was supposed to be a holiday, but because of the orders and the graduation ceremony in UNMER, we opened for half day.

Bu Takim and Mbak Nas (the cooks -I'll post their pics next time- ) even came to the cafeteria at 3 AM to finish everything up. Thank God I didn't use hour base salary system :D Still, all the works today were counted as overtime.

Anyways, this blue hi-waist skirt reminds me instantly to one of my friends who claimed herself as 'fashion people'. One time, quite a while ago when legging, skinny pants, and only hipster pants or skirts available at stores, we had a conversation. and I said something like "Just wait and see, not gonna be long until hi-waist kick back in..." and she said something like, "No way, there's no chance for hi-waist to come back to trend. Hideous. And even if it comes back, there is nooo way for me to wear it. Never."

And, two months ago, I saw her wearing one.

Laughed my head off.

Eat your tongue, woman.

I just remembered I had this knee-dress,, I bought it in Sukowati Market, Bali, 1.5 years ago,

just because I felt like my friends had done all the frantic shopping and I hadn't bought anything yet,

i decided to get this dress for myself.

Such a reactive impulsive buying :D

This dress is fully smocked from the breast part down to my mid-abdomen part,

the tightness of the smocks suffocate me every time I wear this. Ouch.

no shoes,, because I'm in the tv room, on a mattress,, no shoes allowed!

no make up, because it was taken in the end of the day,

when my make up all wore off and my face turned red and oily :D

Today was the pay day for my cafeteria staffs.

two of my cafeteria branch staffs resigned on Sunday morning. A very short notice indeed.

I was upset but I would not stop them.

The reasons were odd, but let's pray for the best, Amin.

This condition makes me stay and help in Cafeteria Merdeka full time. I had no time to order, pick-up, and send over shoes today, and no time whatsoever to pay the car tax yet, hope I'm not gonna be late on that, and hopefully no penalty for the late this time, no, not again :D

This weekend I'm going to start reading my April Elle. Yes, it's April edition. Yes, it's 16th of April today. And yes, I haven't touched it yet. Since I'm not good at bookkeeping, managing two cafeteria -with all the ibuibu problems- was confusing for me at first, but I'm keeping up :)

And finally today I got another MC job, a semi-formal seminar held by Ministry of Finance on Surat Utang Negara and Obligasi Negara Ritel.

Yes, I was half floating away in the middle of the sessions, but I really was trying to understand. I was :D

yesterday was the opening of my 2nd canteen,, a completely different place, atmosphere, condition, and human resources.

I dare you human resources studies students, switch with me,

and solve these strange problems of human kind!

and last weekend i had two busy days --doesn't feel like weekend at all--

prepared the canteen, bought the stuffs i haven't bought for the canteen,

went to the same store twice a day and made the store owner waaaay richer in two days,

cleaned everything up, stressed everything out,

and missing the flower festival :(

oh, that was last week.

The highlight, thou, I got to meet Ms. Sue Cooper!

She is my former teacher in John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School,

Perth, Western Australia, on 2004-2005

She pretty much took care of me during my stay in Perth,

she even celebrated my 18th birthday! She threw a party in Indonesian language class! (yes, i took Indonesian language class in Aussie. I was trying to be a good native resource for them, but as you'd probably guess, I messed the class up, and my Indonesian test is not higher than half of the class LOL )

My mother thought now I wore too less make up. I think I am.

I just realize I never posted my MC or presenter pics,, This one is me about 4kg ago :D

This is a marketing seminar in Montana 2 Hotel (the hotel got a new name name now, it had been acquitted by other hotel, but I can't remember the new name and the other hotel name whatsoever. The man in the machinery shop (I bought an exhaust van for the cafeteria) the other day told me that this 'short-term-memory-phenomenon' is spreading because of the MSG -mono sodium glutamate- we eat everyday. I'm not surprised.

I used to eat out almost every meal time. And those food out there, you never know what's in them.

I never really cared, and I don't,

but I tried to save more memories so in Cafe Merdeka you won't find too much MSG in our food :)

anyways,, the standing guy in the last picture is Pak Danang Kurnia, who owns several big food businesses in Malang, and inspires me to work for myself, THANK YOU SIR, I am trying my best now :)

This seminar was held by Win's Enterprise, owned by a magnificent young businessman, Wino (2nd, far right, 1st photo). He visited the cafeteria in our 1st days :) Thank you!!!!

Next to him, Iir, has known me since we were both kindergarten, she now run a boutique, and she helped me with my decision to stay in the business lane :)

No one is around yet -i haven't even put the money in the cash register-

only my beloved cooks and staffs, preparing for the big day :)

I guess choosing to run a cafeteria might not be the most glamorous job.

As I can't just wear any cutie outfits I actually want to wear, especially in busy days when my help is greatly needed, and I will smell like spices, and run around taking the dirty plates and cleaning the tables, or behind the cash register.

Like today, I had to attend a meeting in brawijaya university. I dressed up preppy, and wore my new Kozzy Shoes

Love it!

I was wearing them today and ran around checking bottles, tissues, and wiping the tables.

And someone chuckled, said things like "Hahahaha,, mbak itu saltum", "Gaya bener yang jaga kantin gaul pake high heel!!"

Ermh....

BUT,, although it is might not the most glamorous choice for me,

I put a really big grin on my face today,,

This business is going well so far (7daysoldonly),

and we were offered to open another one in UM, state university of malang.

much smaller than this one and we have to share the whole big room with 5 other tenants,

and there will be one other cash register machine! Yaaay! I love that thing.

Just arrived yesterday!!!!!

A refreshing change from the kitchen :)

All these gorgeous gray things have to be shipped to Bengkulu tomorrow,,

actually there are 7 shoes. one I'm going to post soon, one I shipped to Surabaya, stupidly without taking a picture of it beforehand.

Three I still have to glue the labels on, so they are not going to be up so soon :)

But next week there will be other 6 coming,, excited!!!!

What else can I say??? Her work is superb!!

At first, I knew her works from my cousin, Maya, who wore her amazing kebaya (it was green-purple, and I'm still drooling for it :D ) for her graduation

-emh.. or probably it was a medical oath or something like that,, she is a doctor-

and then she wore it again on her bridal shower.

She showed me her pictures wearing Nova Viola's kebaya (not only the green-purple one)

and from that moment on... I fell in love with her kebaya

They have such a color combination!

She did an exhibition along with many other wedding suppliers in Mall Olympic Garden Malang quite sometimes ago,

My friend, Cindy, was modeling her kebaya, and among those exquisite group of wedding suppliers, and all the white gowns, her kebaya stood out in the crowd :)

Can't wait to be in one of those kebayas one day :)

But I can tell you that it's not as easy as it may seems, or at least as i thought.

It was crazy, I ran out of rice at 10.00 am. And ran out of it again at 1.00 pm.

No time to sit down, no time to pee, exhaustion it was!

and it might not be one of my dream businesses (....everything related to dresses, shoes, bags,...)

but it was awesome.

still, no time to take any pictures whatsoever.

Hopefully, tomorrow will get better, and i can leave it to the staffs.

This dress is by Me. Wore once when I was MC-ing for a pop singer audition, covered by a local TV in Malang. Too bad, I had no chance to promote my works :D

I was wearing this with a black spandex turtle neck, skinny black pants, black heels, black scarf, and gray bandanna. See, I'm bad at documenting. I had no photos of it whatsoever.

I'm planning on wardrobe shopping this month.

Anyways. Monday is the opening for Cafe Merdeka (FATHER named it. Based on the location, Merdeka University,Malang) which means I won't be able to do anything at all besides sitting behind the cash register machine and teach the staffs how to use that magical thing. Even I only remember vaguely how to operate it. Today we were getting ready, washed all the dishes, cleaned the whole room, printed the menus, bought mirrors, bottle openers, curtains which match the wall color -tosca!- , put the signs up, and we still have few things to do tomorrow. And since the place will be opened at 7.30am, I have to be there at 7am. And due to my insomnia, I'm not a morning person at all. So let's see what's gonna happen.

Hey, I'm watching America's Got Talents at the moment, and the triplet girls are wearing awesome zebra print hats!!!!!

I'm online mostly every day, but i didn't find a good grip to blog lately :D

Anyways,, I was complaining about the translation job, right.. It was the whole first week of March and it was truly exhausting. But I cant complain for my salary, it's beyond words :D although I had to translate one whole folder of case study for the whole 2nd week of March, and slept at 2am everyday of that week,, naaaah,, I was not complaining whatsoever!

Lesson of the month: Step out of my comfort zone, huge step.

Too bad, no photos whatsoever at the moment. I havent gotten any copies if them till now.

And yesterday I was MC-ing in Mall Olympic Garden, malang, for Gab's Model Agent 3rd anniversary. I did the first half of the show, and the other half was done by Mas Oneng, the more experienced and awesome MC :D . I was wearing stripy shirt, studded cardigan, skinny pants, and studded ankle boots. All black and off white. Too bad, still,, no photos. Gatya, whom I was gonna ask to take pictures while I was busy with the microphone, went off for some meeting.

I'm too bad at documenting. I have to start changing, sigh....

i just got a call from Germany from a trainer who will do a workshop in Malang. He needed a translator and my lecturer recommended me. But when he called i only caught a very few line from the conversation. He had this thick accent and my lazy ear refused to cooperate with my brain. The rest, i said ow-kay, or being speechless. He said something about me having to prepare and me having to be to the venue at 10 am. I have no idea. But he did tell me he is going to email me. Good. Then i'll understand what is actually going on. I dont even know if he actually picked me or not. God. I'd rather be an mc. God. My ear doesn't speak english.   Anyways.. These cuties are kids models, they were modelling for Kakang Mbakyu Cilik Malang 2009. A kid pageant. Yes, there is pageant for kids in my city. And the awesome thing is these little models walk like a pro supermodels on the catwalk. They even wore high heels and make up!

So last night i was supposed to accompany Mita to her friend's wedding. She said she was going to pick me up on 18.30. I got ready at 18.00, getting my make up done, and making a big mess in my closet. I couldn't decide what to to wear. So I went for black-black-black combo, and dress it down to the minimum. I usually went ga-ga on weddings. I wore zebra striped neck scarf, along with silver headed black belt, black bangle, and black head scarf.

It was 18.15. My mobile phone beeped and the message said that Mita is still out of town, she couldn't make it on time, so she decided to cancel the whole plan. Bugger.

Then I stripped the neck scarf, bangle, head scarf, and change it with pashmina, and played around with the camera.

Oh, and i.m considering dying my hair brown, with blonde strike. Will it look cheesy on me?

No, I'm not being stupid or acting silly in a store. I was just out with my Mom and there you go, a pink little bag peeking in the corner of my eye. It screamed "Hello there, pick me, I'm youuuurs!" I was standing in the middle of the store trying to catch my own breath. It said "C'mon,, another bag wouldn't hurt! I match your pink heels, remember?". I was still standing there like a fool. "Got no money?" It asked, "Why don't you ask your Mom, she just got her lecturing fee? I belong to youuuuu!!"

And NO, people. I'm not exaggerating. That's just how I felt when I saw this little pink bag. If only it didn't cost me a motorbike (yea, what do you expect from a chanel handbag's price tag?) i would be cuddling it by now. Asking my Mom? I wouldn't even think off that. Well,, I lied. I thought of it. Yes, I'm 22, making money of my own, but I'm still the broke daughter drooling over a chanel bag, what else should I think? And guess what the Mom got to say, "This bag looks exactly like your blue chanel bag, only this one is pink. So why would you want that? PLUS you can feed a whole bunch of orphan kids with that price. Don't be ridiculous. " End of discussion.

My daily life usually involves a lot of pairs of flats. One at a time. And one time usually means 3-6 months. I usually have only 1 or 2 pairs each time, which means i could accumulate around 6 or 8 pairs in a year. But that doesn't mean I have as many options for my daily shoe choice, because usually they get worn out after 2 months,, i have scissorish foot, you see!

Yes, since I dont work full time anymore, I'm going to need donations for my plan (read: new shoes). But till then I'll be happy barefooting :) Anyways. This is just a maxi with thousands patterns on it, and cardigan. I fell in love for the maxi because of the crazy patterns. Think of flowers, leopard, zebra, polkadots, in one piece of fabric.  Aw, and we just won the make up contest today! WE means the girls from uni and I, Make up contest means the competition held in my uni to celebrate my faculty's Anniversary. Rodiya did Devi's make up blindfolded, and I guided her from like 5 meters behind her. Turned out awesome!

I've been thinking of uploading my sketches
it's not outstandingly drawn
but usually i like it (cos i draw it :P)

If i compare myself right now and me in the past,
it's like a metamorphosing process,
some people usually metamorphosing in the inside
and not much changing on the surface.
But I metamorphosed in such a huge way,
I metamorphosed in and out,

so, i think this sketch represents it the best..

aaaand.... i put this design to a fashion design contest :D
challenging my confidence and broken soul to show my work to the world,
the finalists get to present the actual dress in the grand final,

The Hi-shoulder....

I went closet cleaning today. I did my mom's old closet. It is called old closet because she put all her old and unused clothes there. I call it treasure box though. Sometimes.
The reason I did this cleaning was mainly because I want new wardrobes. New old wardrobes.
And I wished i could get an old new something in there.

And all the sudden
I found a big pile of shoulder padded jackets and blazers.
And I was like... "O My God.. Look at these high shoulders!!"
I remember how it made many women look like they just came out of Star Trek.
And because of that, I never liked them.

But then,,
I came across these outfits in the net..
I know, it's been around in the runway quite a lot,
in the magz too,
and I thought I was going to talk about it weeks ago.
It didnt happen until this finding stroke me like a lightning.

Some of the newest doesn't use pads anymore, they raised the shoulder somehow
and call it structured shoulder
but some still uses pads but not as sharp and high as what our moms used to wear -and still wear-.

So after i found the big pile of shoulder padded things in my mom's closet
and find so many articles talk about the comeback..

While this one here is from Robert Ryan, an artist, singer, and performer.
He puts words and cutouts allover this dress and it makes the dress really stunning in such an elegant way.

Hi! So I'm Back!! it's been sooooooo exhausting these few months, but this is a quick update,,

So I've graduated from my fashion school, and I was the best graduate! Yaaaay!!

So, this is the pic of the dress that i designed for the exam.
it's colorful. I mean it is COLORFUL.
the theme was tribal,
we were devided into 6 groups,
mine was combining Batik with Geometry,
so here it is...
it is peacocky, and the model wore hijab,
i wore hijab, so i want my design to wear one!
and that's my Kebaya, i designed it myself,
this is a close look of it,,,
actually, the back of it has a huge black bow

haha,,, the chanel bag doesnt quite match
but i thought i need color!

My home internet access has reached its limit. Not even reached it, the bytes that i used have exceeded twice the limit.
I shouldve only used 1GB, and I used like 2.3GB. My folks went crazy and i shouldnt use internet at home anymore.
But,,, really, do you think i can live without internet? Neh.

Just a quick update in my sneaky access..

I was finally able to get my fash.design tasks done, and although i have to pay the penalty, i could go for the exams! Yaay!

And today I did the fitting session with the models for my final task dress. It's the peacock dress i told you before.

It went ou terrific, but my dress doesnt seem as ALIVE and OUTSTANDING as the original drawing, that's what I felt and that's what my friends told me.

But I got a quick fix! Add some beads and stones on the dress, and let's see the difference.

I'll post the pic of it when I'm done putting all the beads and stones on it!

Actually I'm supposed to be studying for Global Business Exam,
but something more important is bothering me now, and i won't calm down until I release it..

So this afternoon, I met a friend who has a new FRINGE. It is deadly straight and sharp.
Ad it went right up on her eyelids, and it seems like she has some problem opening her eyes normally.
Talking about a constant blinking.
Correct me if this expression is exaggerating.
But seriously, the fringe pokes her eyes!

Then my other friend came and he asked her
"What the hell is happening to your hair??"
Then she said to me,
"I actually want to cut my fringe longer than this."
I asked, "like... covering-your-eyes long?"
She said, "Yea,, it must be cool."
I made weird faces, "Ow-kay.What the hell is wrong with you?"
She said,
"Being in pain is fine, as long as it is trendy."
I rolled my eyes.

TRIBAL PARTY.
Yep. That's the grand theme for my final assignment. This final assignment determines my GPA. And probably my future career as a fashion designer :D

It was very exciting for an upcoming-beginner-fashion-designer to know that her piece of work will be modeled in a catwalk!

But yes, it WAS exciting.

Well it is still very exciting, but not as much as it was. The amount of work is excruciating!!!

I'm taking two majors -fashion design and business management- at the same time, so there is me to be blamed.

But it's not the only problem, i suggest to everyone out there --people, just dont try to study fashion design in such a short time period.Seriously.--

Anyways, let's talk about the exciting part. I went to the market for material hunting a few days ago. It's not only fun to be surrounded by colourful fabrics, but it's also confusing!The spirit of making my design happens is so overwhelming! One colour differ slightly from the others, the qualities too. It's hard to choose. Everything was so pretty!

I'm going to share how it will look. In the meantime, that is the only thing I can do, and I'll publish the design after the dress is done!

So, it will be two pieces. A long sleeve blouse with a big skirt. Big, you know like the old Western dresses worn by Cinderella? Yea, the skirt looks like that.With a few layering here and there, and a headscarf with peacock feathers on top.

And the general theme of this outfit is peacock.

My friend, Widy, recommended 'Les Damme Paonnes' for the title. She said it means Lady Peacock or something sounds like that.

Gosh, I dont even remember how to spell it.

Is my spelling right?

I think it sounds exotic. I want this outfit get the exotic feeling, so i decided to use the title!

I've always been in love with this traditional dress of Indonesia.Somehow it makes any kind of figure looks good. It accentuates every curve in woman body.

If I have to say my opinion about Kebaya in one word, i would simply say it's AMAZINGLYBEAUTIFUL.
What? It's one word!

But sometimes I hate the dressmakers who made Kebaya for me for such a big price and resulted such a not figure friendly Kebaya.They drive me nuts all the time.

You see, there is this one big rule in making or choosing a Kebaya. It has to be perfectly fitted to your body.I said FIT doesnt mean it has to be TIGHT, but FIT means it has to suit your figure perfectly.

Yes, it needs an advance craftmanship to make miracle happens!

That's why it is said Kebaya is supposed to be specially made for one.

Shopping Spree

Anyways, my mom is in the shopping mood these days. In a week she has already bought lots. I mean it, lots.

Well, she has good excuses though.. She is going to Australia in the end of January, for 3 months, so she thinks she needs lots of stuff.And i kind of happy with this phenomenon because i know that i'll be able to use sme of the things she bought (definetely the bags!yaaaay!)

But still, this is not a normal behaviour in our family.

The good thing was, when she shopped for another pair of shoe (she has already bought a pair before, which looks almost the same with the one she bought this time, but it's brown and the other one is black,those shoes look like sisters!), i got one too! she bought me this very cute flat! It still hurts my feet though, because the leather is a bit too stiff, i think.

But, o well, I'm in love with this flat. Surely it'll be comfy sometimes soon! :)

And the other good thing was she bought a black oversized bag!!

It is H.U.G.E!!!!

I'll probably be able to smuggle a baby in it

There's no label in it, so i have no idea what brand the bag is. But my mom bought it from famous bag maker in my province, so I assume that the bag i handmade.And I will be able wearing it in 3 months! Ha Ha!

I'll post a pic of me in these things on next posts, because i am not wearing decent-clothes-to-be-displayed-on-the-blog right now!

I just keep on writing in this blog after a long hibernation instead of making a new blog, is because merely i'm just way too lazy to start everything all over again.

No other reason.

So i just changed the colour, layout, and added bits and pieces from the old blog to make it different. I would say it's environmental friendly, I just recycling and reusing a blog :D

Nah, just kidding.

Pheww... Waking up in the morning feeling like a gypsian, i suppose!! MYE (an upcoming designer and street stylist) does it best,, we are looking forward for the next outfits!! look how she does the hijab! Looks like she is inspired by a Dubai designer, Rubia Z. Anyway, no other words than LOVE IT! And one important thing to add,, the whole look won't make you broke :> chic and cheap, have always been my fave!!!

She's ready for her gigs tonight!! Her band was performing that night! I dont understand music that well,, but i guess her band was kinda emo,, and i glad she still looks very girl-like sweet on the night!

i like the way RED lives up the whole look. And the short,, yea.. it was fresh ripped from a knee-length into a short-short. The red car is a great accessory by the way :D Too bad she wouldnt show us her pretty face.

Still from the International Gathering, I found an interesting combination of BaTik! Yea, I'll never stop publishing BaTik, because i think this traditional Indonesian fabric pattern is very rich, and very nice!

I've been always someone who doesn't wear stuff that is becoming a 'super trend' and everyone else is wearing it. But it's different with Batik. Although it's been a big 'super trend' in Indonesia, I dont care. I'm proud wearing them.

I'm telling you what,, the guys als love Batik!
